The US’s withdrawal from the Transpacific Partnership agreement (TPP) does not affect much on Vietnam economy. Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association (LEFASO), Shoes & Leather - Vietnam
's organizer, and the Vietnamese Customs Department reported the footwear exports reached positive growth continuously.
Of the total footwear exports has marked at 7.06 billion US dollars
in the 2017's first half, 13.2%
increase compared to same period of 2016, 6.24 billion US dollars. The Main destinaion markets for Vietnamese footwear :-

: 2.45 billion US dollars- China
: 522.5 million US dollars- Germany
: 493.8 million US dollars- Belgium
: 454.7 million US dollars- Japan
: 364.1 million US dollars
The Vietnamese government does not stop their trial here. The governement is diversifying its economy partners continuously, e.g. contributing strong connection in ASEAN, the EVFTA and proposed Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
For 2017 edition, the governement has forecasted the GDP's growth target at 6.7%
, and the following years will reach at least 7%
increase. The ball keeps on rolling.
